West Ham close in on Denis Zakaria signing as club lower demands to just £15.4 million
Calciomercato reckon that the Hammers are closing in on the signing of the Switzerland international.
I honestly think the 26-year-old could be a really smart addition for West Ham, especially for just £15.4 million.
Zakaria is a defensive midfielder by trade but he can play in the centre-back position as as well if need be, and that versatility makes the reported fee even more of a bargain as far as I’m concerned.

The Swiss international is incredibly dynamic and energetic. He is a tenacious tackler and has the kind of physicality needed to succeed in the Premier League.
If Denis Zakaria joins West Ham and gets a regular run of games, I’m sure we’ll see the best of him in East London.
Former BSC Young Boys coach Uli Forte labelled him as an incredible player with exceptional technical ability (Mondo Napoli).
I believe that signing the Swiss midfielder for just £15.4 million should be an absolute no-brainer for the Hammers.
