West Ham United head coach Graham Potter has a fantastic opportunity to bring a truly elite talent to the club this summer.

Graham Potter has a serious amount of work to do at West Ham in the summer transfer window.

He needs to drastically bring down the average age of the squad at the London Stadium, and he must add more energy, athleticism and dynamism to his ranks as well.

The good news is that Graham Potter is planning on doing exactly that at West Ham.

It will be vital for the Hammers head coach to get rid of as much deadwood as he can as well.

Once he raises some cash, he will then be able to begin his assault on the transfer market.

And the chance to sign one player in particular will be hugely exciting for the West Ham fans.

Graham Potter can bring Tyler Dibling to West Ham for bargain fee

Tyler Dibling is firmly on the Hammers’ transfer radar.

West Ham wanted to sign Tyler Dibling back in January, but were quoted £55 million by Southampton.

However, the old saying ‘patience is a virtue’ has proven to be spot on in this case.

That’s because Caught Offside are claiming that Southampton are now willing to sell the 19-year-old for just £35 million this summer.

What an incredible deal that would be for West Ham, if they manage to get a deal done for him.

Described by The Guardian as a ‘world-class talent’ Dibling really does have it all.

And a move to the Hammers would be perfect for him at this stage of his career.

Tyler Dibling stats

Dibling has bagged four goals and three assists for the Saints this season (Transfermarkt).

His all-round contribution has been worth far more than just goals and assists though.

He’s a left-footed right winger by trade, although he can play anywhere along the front-line if need be.

Tyler Dibling possesses exceptional technical ability, with impeccably tight ball control, and he would elevate West Ham’s play inside the final third to another level entirely.

Signing Dibling for just £35 million should be an absolute no-brainer for the Hammers.
