West Ham United can now sign Jordan Larsson for nothing after he terminated his contract with Russian club Spartak Moscow.

Highly-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed last night that the 25-year-old striker is now available on a free transfer after his contract with Spartak Moscow was mutually terminated.

Hammers manager David Moyes is keen to bring the seven-capped Sweden international striker to the London Stadium in the summer (Aftonbladet).

Signing a top-class centre-forward will be the Scot’s main priority now that he has wrapped up deals to sign Nayef Aguerd and Alphonse Areola.

Larsson would be a very decent option for the Hammers in my opinion, albeit not a marquee signing.

Aftonbladet claim that West Ham were prepared to pay around £8 million for the Swede back in January.

And now we could pick him up for for absolutely nothing…

West Ham can sign striker for a real bargain

There is every chance that Larsson could be Hammers bound this summer.

The 25-year-old would be a very smart addition addition for West Ham.

Fabrizio Romano claims the Sweden international has terminated his contract with Spartak Moscow:

The Swede racked up 15 goals and five assists in 29 league games for Spartak Moscow in 2020/21 season (Transfermarkt).

Larsson has pace and dynamism in abundance. He is a tireless worker and is not afraid of running the channels to help create more space for his teammates.

The 25-year-old can play anywhere along the front-line and that versatility will undoubtedly appeal do David Moyes.

Signing Larsson on a free this summer seems like an absolute no-brainer for the Hammers.

Following Romano’s claim, it seems as though West Ham can sign the Swedish striker for what would be an unbelievable bargain deal.

Hopefully Moyes makes it happen.
