A West Ham board confidant has highlighted worrying links between Jarrod Bowen’s agents and Liverpool amid his contract impasse.
Jarrod Bowen has really stepped up as a leader and talisman in the wake of Declan Rice’s West Ham departure.
So fresh links to Liverpool of late are of grave concern to everyone connected with West Ham.
Bowen has been persistently linked with Liverpool as their long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool’s alleged interest in West Ham’s top scorer Bowen – who scored at Anfield recently – stretches back to 2021.
The Sun claimed back then that West Ham actually rejected a bid from Liverpool.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has hardly hidden his admiration for Bowen either. Ahead of a clash between the two sides around that time, the German waxed lyrical Bowen’s praises.
The links have not gone away. And The Athletic recently claimed Liverpool have been watching West Ham’s star attacker closely for some time now with a view to trying to sign him as their heir to Saudi-linked Salah.
Bowen, who is out of contract in 2025, has been in talks for over 12 months regarding a new Hammers deal.

It was reported last month that there is confidence West Ham and the player are close to reaching an agreement.
Since then there have been claims of a contract impasse surrounding a release clause Bowen’s representatives want included in the deal.
Earlier this week Sean Whetstone, a source close to the West Ham board, claimed a lack of progress on a new deal for Bowen could force West Ham to sell the Liverpool target next summer.
Whetstone counts West Ham co-owner David Sullivan and vice-chair Karren Brady among his contacts.

Whetstone lifts lid on strong links between Bowen’s PLG agency and Liverpool
Now the West Ham board confidant has highlighted worrying links between Bowen’s agents and Liverpool amid the contract impasse.
“Jarrod Bowen’s agents PLG have multiple links to Liverpool,” Whetstone said.
“A quick look at Companies House shows the two main directors are Tyler Alexander-Arnold, brother and agent of Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Liam O’Donnell – Scottish PFA lawyer and agent of Liverpool player Andy Robertson.
“Another Liverpool player Nat Phillips is also on the books with agency who has close connections with Jurgen Klopp.”
