West Ham United are reportedly willing to make a concrete offer for Josip Sutalo this summer.
According to football journalist Niccolo Ceccarini, West Ham are lining up a £17 million bid for the 23-year-old Dinamo Zagreb centre-back in the summer transfer window.

The East London outfit were first linked with a move to sign Sutalo yesterday.

Hammers manager David Moyes definitely needs to strengthen his centre-back ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
And now it seems like the Scot is ready to pull the trigger with a formal offer for Croatia international Sutalo…
West Ham are ready to make concrete bid for Croatian powerhouse Josip Sutalo
The Hammers are ready to lodge at least a €20 million (£17 million) bid for the Zagreb ace.
Niccolo Ceccarini has been quoted by Fiorentina News as saying:
“For Sutalo there are four clubs ready to put at least €20m for the player. From Leipzig, to Arsenal, West Ham and Ajax.”

So there is clearly plenty of competition for Sutalo’s signature.
I feel as though Moyes should be setting his sights a little higher in the transfer market this summer.
Josip Sutalo is a strong central defender but West Ham can surely do better, especially for £17 million. The 23-year-old is completely unproven in the Premier League don’t forget.
That in itself should be enough to convince Moyes to look elsewhere. Who knows though…he might be a Tim Steidten target! West Ham really are a mess behind the scenes right now and it really wouldn’t surprise me if we went into the first game of the season with no new signings.
