West Ham are interested in signing Antonin Barak this summer according to a report from Corriere di Verona (Print edition, June 2nd, page 14).

Hammers boss David Moyes is expected to be a very busy man in the transfer market.
A centre-forward, a central midfielder and a centre-back are believed to be right at the very top of the Scot’s priority list this summer.
One place where we are fairly well-stocked, however, is the attacking midfield department.
That hasn’t stopped Corriere di Verona from claiming that Czech Republic ace Antonin Barak is on West Ham’s radar.

The Hellas Verona ace is international teammates with Hammers duo Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek. He enjoyed a brief spell with Slavia Prague with his fellow countryman as well.
West Ham chasing Antonin Barak?
Corriere di Verona reckon that the 26-year-old attacking midfielder is being watched by the East London club.
Barak racked up seven goals and three assists in 34 games for Hellas Verona last season (Transfermarkt).

The Czech Republic international is a technically gifted operator and plays with a really attacking mindset. He is also a very hard worker, however. So it’s obvious why he would appeal to David Moyes.
Perhaps Soucek and Coufal have recommended him as well?
West Ham have had great recent success signing Czech players. And it seems as though that trend could be set to continue.

Whether we actually need another attack minded midfielder, however, is another matter entirely.
