Vladimir Coufal has made a very honest admission about his West Ham future amidst strong links with Bayer Leverkusen.

The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a £6 million move to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the January transfer window.

I have to say, moving Coufal on this winter will be the right call from David Moyes, in my opinion.

The 34-capped Czech Republic international has regressed badly over the past 12 months, having started his West Ham career in such fine fashion.

And it seems as though Coufal’s days at the London Stadium could very well be numbered…

The 30-year-old right-back has been speaking to Football Club about his current situation at the London Stadium.

And Coufal admitted that he will be seeking a move away from West Ham, if he doesn’t start playing regularly under David Moyes again:

I went to ask (why I’m not playing so much anymore). But they couldn’t tell me anything about it. That’s football. Sometimes you play, sometimes you don’t. If the situation that occurred during the autumn were to continue, something will definitely be resolved and is being resolved. I don’t want to sit on the bench here as much as in the autumn. If possible, I would like to stay in England. The Premier League is the best league in the world. And if I were to speculate, I would also be tempted by the Bundesliga. You never know what can happen when the transfer window opens.

Well, those comments prove that Coufal will not think twice about leaving West Ham, if he continues to play a bit-part role.

The 30-year-old has made 17 appearances for West Ham so far this season, although only nine of those have come in the Premier League.

Vladimir Coufal has made an honest admission about his West Ham future and as things stand, I feel as though it’s only a matter of time before he leaves.
