Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign alleged West Ham target Andrea Belotti for just £25 million according to a report from The Daily Mail.
The Hammers were thought to be in pole position to sign the Italy international according to a recent report from Torino Granata.
Spurs may be ready to hijack David Moyes’s move to sign Belotti, however.
That’s according to The Daily Mail who claim that Tottenham have been offered the 27-year-old striker for just £25 million.
Tottenham winning Belotti race would be big blow for West Ham
The Hammers are in such desperate need of a top class striker.
And Belotti would be a superb addition at the London Stadium.
The 27-year-old has great movement and is accomplished at leading the line on his own. He is strong as an ox and has an impressive goalscoring record with 149 goals his name in 363 career games (Transfermarkt).
West Ham are clearly a club on the rise. We are two strikers light, however. Signing Belotti in the summer would undoubtedly help us reach another level.
Tottenham could be an unwelcome inconvenience for the Hammers.
Harry Kane looks set to leave Spurs in the summer. So the north London outfit will be keen to sign a top class replacement for the 27-year-old.
And Belotti fits the bill perfectly.
West Ham missing out on Belotti to Tottenham would really hurt.
You never know though. If the Hammers secure Europa League football for next season, we might still stand a chance of beating Tottenham to Belotti in the summer.
