Summer signing Mads Hermansen, meanwhile, quickly played his way out of the team following a move from Leicester. Ironically, he remains the only Irons stopper to have kept a clean sheet this season.
West Ham did re-sign Lukasz Fabianski back in September, but the veteran is very much third choice and has been injured for most of the season anyway.

As such, West Ham have been linked with a move for Tottenham’s Antonin Kinsky.
However, a development emerged on Deadline Day.

Indeed, according to journalist Tom Barclay, the Czech goalkeeper is now expected to stay in north London despite interest from the Hammers.
Spurs, despite their woes this season, are understood to be reluctant to let the former Slavia Prague custodian – who only joined the club last year – leave at this stage of the campaign.
With very little time left in the January transfer window, a move across London now seems incredibly unlikely.

What Antonin Kinsky snub means for West Ham United
Spurs being reluctant to lose Kinsky could have ramifications on both Spurs and Leicester during the closing stages of the window.
Indeed, West Ham are reluctant to let Hermansen leave amid interest from Leicester, and it seems almost impossible to imagine that they’ll sanction that move without a replacement.
The door to Kinsky now looks closed and, barring a late move, a new goalkeeper won’t arrive.
As such, Hermansen looks set to stay.
