A January transfer window that has rolled into February will soon shut – and West Ham United could be busy on both fronts.

Indeed, West Ham are expected to be busy on deadline day, and outgoings could well form part of a dramatic final few hours of the window.

Though much of the attention will no doubt be on the club’s pursuit of at least one central defender, there may well be some exits.

Pretend YOU call the shots – who are you signing on Deadline Day?! 🤑

For weeks now, Nuno Espirito Santo has talked about rebalancing his squad. West Ham have allowed several players to leave during the January transfer window as a result.

After only a few months at the club, summer signing Mads Hermansen could be on his way out.

Leicester want to re-sign Mads Hermansen from West Ham United

Back in November, Hammers News brought you the news that West Ham were considering selling Hermansen, only a few months after the goalkeeper joined from Leicester.

Ironically, the Dane is the only West Ham custodian to have kept a clean sheet this season – and that was back in August.

Still, Alphonse Areola remains first choice under Nuno, and Hermansen has been tipped for an exit.

Now, Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian suggests that the Foxes are keen to lure him back to the King Power Stadium, although they are not the only Championship club believed to be interested.

At this stage, it’s thought that West Ham are reluctant to do a deal.

Would you take relegation if it meant that David Sullivan would leave?! 🤔

Not a nice position to be in – but what would YOU choose if you had to?

Mads Hermansen already had the green light to leave West Ham United

It’s interesting to hear that the club are currently reluctant to let him go, given Nuno had confirmed that Hermansen can leave West Ham, although they will surely want to land a replacement first.

The fact that Lukasz Fabianski could return from injury this month may not be enough to sway matters, given he is third choice anyway.

West Ham have been linked with Tottenham’s Antonin Kinsky, although there has not been an official update on that reported interest in a while now.
