Tomas Soucek has spoken out on West Ham teammate Lucas Paqueta’s Man City links and drops a big hint over a move.
As West Ham are all too aware, star man Lucas Paqueta is wanted y treble winners Manchester City.
Last week West Ham fans got a bolt from the Blue Moon, when it emerged Man City had made a move for Paqueta.
And worse still the Brazil midfielder – somewhat inevitably – wants the move.
Talks between West Ham and Man City have reportedly continued over a fee since.
But Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola remained tight-lipped over the move to sign Paqueta from West Ham when quizzed on it in his press conference before the season opening win over Burnley.
The likes of The Evening Standard claim West Ham have rejected an £87m bid from Man City for Paqueta.

David Moyes has been linked with a host of potential Paqueta replacements including the very exciting Mohammed Kudus of Ajax.
Paqueta has remained very professional despite the strong interest from Man City and was one of West Ham’s best players in the draw with Bournemouth.
The Hammers have brought in midfielders Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse.
And now the man they could be partnering in West Ham’s midfield has had his say on the transfer speculation surrounding the club’s Brazilian magnifico.
Tomas Soucek has spoken out on West Ham teammate Paqueta’s Man City links and drops a big hint.

‘I wish him all the best’
Czech Republic midfielder Soucek is hoping Paqueta stays at the London Stadium. But he has appeared to suggest that the move is inevitable as he ‘wished him all the best’.
“I wish him all the best wherever he goes”, Soucek told The Evening Standard.
“I like to play next to him, he does incredible things and I would like him to stay.
“He can do passes nobody else can see — a proper Brazilian footballer.”
It’s quite rare for players or managers to talk about transfers before they’ve been agreed nowadays.
Indeed it is like getting blood out of a stone for journalists in interviews much of the time.
Players know what is going on when it comes to their teammates and who might be going where.
So these comments from Soucek could give a clear indication that Paqueta is edging closer to joining champions Man City as the Hammers eye replacements.
