West Ham United director of football Tim Steidten has a very specific transfer target in mind ahead of the summer transfer window it seems.
Tim Steidten has a lot of work to do at West Ham this summer, with a very big overhaul required at the London Stadium.
Despite all the recent noise around the German potentially leaving the Hammers, he will be at the club next season, but it remains to be seen whether the same can be said for David Moyes.
Steidten is clearly identifying potential targets for the summer already, with the addition of a Premier League proven, strong centre-back required.
According to a report from GIVEMESPORT, that man could be giant 6ft 5in Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo – someone who the Hammers have been linked with on numerous occasions before.
Now it seems like Steidten is making a move to sign the 26-year-old before the start of next season one of his main priorities…

Tim Steidten desperate to bring Fulham ace to West Ham
The 44-year-old Hammers DOF is said to be a big fan of the former Manchester City centre-back and let’s be honest here, he’d be a huge upgrade on our current central defensive options.
Back in 2016, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola absolutely raved about the then 19-year-old centre-back, and suggested he fully expected him to play for his team, as quoted by Sky Sports:
“One or two months ago, when we finished the season, I was sent a lot of highlights about the academy players; about Tosin, Brandon Barker, Bersant Celina, Manu Garcia and Aleix Garcia. We had an idea about them and trained with them all pre-season. Tosin has a lot of steps to get him better. It’s not done, but he has all the quality. He is fast, strong in the air, and has the quality to look forward behind the line for the next pass. He definitely has a future in the first team.”
Those comments from Pep prove just how talented the 26-year-old was as a young player, and he still possesses outstanding ability in my opinion
Standing at 6ft 5in tall, Tosin Adarabioyo is an absolute giant, and he’d be yet another big threat for us from set-pieces.
In 14 appearances for Fulham this season, the former Man City man has averaged 1.1 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 4.3 clearances and 3.1 successful aerial duels per game. He has made 59.1 passes per match on average and has recorded an impressive completion rate of 84.9% (Who Scored).
He is as aerially dominant as they come, and pretty good with the ball at his feet as well. I’d absolutely love him to join the Hammers in the summer transfer window.
Whether Tim Steidten or not manages to bring him to West Ham remains to be seen though.
