Tomas Soucek says West Ham have an ‘unbelievable’ player who can play in multiple different positions

Hammers midfielder Tomas Soucek has just absolutely raved one of his ‘unbelievable’ West Ham United teammates.

Tomas Soucek has been in fine goalscoring form for West Ham this season, and his all-round performances have improved greatly in the last two or three games as well.

Big Tom is a popular character at the London Stadium, but he did go down in the estimations of some when he had a little pop at the Hammers fans by suggesting that he and his teammates don’t feel like the home supporters are completely behind the team this season.

David Moyes has implemented some truly turgid football this season, and that’s the reason why so many fans have a problem with his management style.

We have so many top-class players now, including the likes of Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus – all of whom deserve to be playing in a progressive, free-flowing and attacking setup.

But which one of our front three has Soucek praised the most?

Tomas Soucek says West Ham have an unbelievable player

The Czech Republic international was full of praise for Bowen, and everything that the 27-year-old has done for the club.

Soucek labelled the former Hull City star as ‘unbelievable’, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“Jarrod has been unbelievable at the Club since he signed, and he can play in a variety of positions. His numbers this season are brilliant, and I really hope he’s rewarded with a call-up to the England squad this month and also for the European Championships in the summer.”

Bowen has 17 goals and six assists to his name in 34 games for the Hammers so far this season (Transfermarkt).

He seems to have found a new level entirely this season, and if he can add another five or six goals and the same amount of assists between now and the end of the campaign, we will undoubtedly be in a very good position come May.

Tomas Soucek is clearly a huge fan of his West Ham teammate and rightly so, he’s the main reason why we are where we are right now.

Hopefully Hammers forward Jarrod Bowen finishes the 2023/24 season in really strong form.
