West Ham United have just secured a ‘huge piece of business’ in the form of signing Thilo Kehrer from Paris Saint-Germain.
That’s according to high-profile football journalist Tancredi Palmeri who has suggested on Twitter that €16 million (£13 million) for the 25-year-old really is very good business indeed for the Hammers.

Bringing a top-class central defender to the London Stadium before Sunday’s clash with Brighton will be crucially important for David Moyes.
Kehrer will certainly provide really strong competition and cover for the Hammers’ current crop of central defenders.
And it seems as though we are on the cusp of securing a real transfer coup…
West Ham signing Thilo Kehrer a ‘huge piece of business’
That’s according to Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
The highly respected journo tweeted:
We have to agree with Palmeri.
Kehrer is absolutely rapid and is one of Germany’s fastest players according to Sport Mob. When he was at Schalke, the Bundesliga’s official website described him as a potentially ‘world-class’ player.
He’s a three time league winner, having enjoyed great success at Parc des Princes.
The 25-year-old is an exceptional passer of the football as well.
In 27 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season, he made an average of 43.1 passes per match and recorded an incredibly successful completion rate of 94.7% (Who Scored).

Standing at 6ft 1in tall, Kehrer isn’t the tallest of centre-backs, but he possesses an incredible leap, similar to that of Manchester City defender Nathan Ake.
The German’s ability to play in a variety fo defensive positions will obviously appeal to David Moyes.
And we think that West Ham signing Thilo Kehrer will end up looking like an absolute masterstroke.
