Spurs want long-standing David Moyes West Ham target Franck Kessie but PSG could save the day according to reports in Italy.
Moyes has been linked with a host of midfielders since his return to West Ham last year.
Having signed the brilliant Tomas Soucek that need was eased with the Czech star and Declan Rice forging one of the best partnerships in the Premier League.

Indeed it has helped high-flying West Ham overthrow the likes of Tottenham to be the second best club in London over the last 18 months.
With Antonio Conte on board, Spurs will be looking to climb the table and re-establish themselves as a force.
So both West Ham and Tottenham will be keeping a close eye on one another’s dealings in the transfer market in a bid to try and stay a step ahead.

There are big question marks over Tottenham’s spine and strengthening central midfield will be one of Conte’s first calls it seems.
At West Ham, beyond Rice and Soucek Moyes will still be looking to add quality with Mark Noble coming to the end and Alex Kral only on loan as things stand.
One midfielder who has very much been on Moyes’s radar since his return to West Ham for a second spell is AC Milan’s Franck Kessie – as previously reported by the likes of The Evening Standard and The Mirror and Milan Live.

Kessie is a stocky, powerful box-to-box player who has proved he knows where the goal is.
His contract situation at Milan and his refusal – as yet – to sign a new deal may mean the San Siro side will be forced to sell the Ivory Coast star.
Given Moyes has been tracking Kessie for so long, if the 24-year-old does end up with Tottenham, West Ham will be left licking their wounds.
The powerful all-action ace is perfect for the Premier League. He would be a great fit at either club but would likely be a guaranteed starter at Spurs. And that could be a problem as that would not be the case at West Ham given Soucek and Rice’s partnership.

New Tottenham boss Conte will know all about Kessie. And according to Sport Italia TV’s self-styled transfer insider Gianluigi Longari Spurs are seriously interested.
But they’re not the only ones.
If Moyes is worried one of his long-term targets could end up at bitter rivals Tottenham, it could be that mega rich PSG save the day.
Because Longari replied to his own Tweet from earlier in the season which stated for Spurs fans to watch out for PSG in the race to sign Kessie.
