Ryan Fredericks could be set to join Championship side Middlesbrough after leaving West Ham United this summer.
That’s according to a report from The Mail on Sunday (print edition June 12th, page 144).

Fredericks, 29, joined the Hammers on a free transfer from Fulham in the summer of 2018 and he arrived at the London Stadium with a big reputation.
Unfortunately for him and West Ham though, he has failed to establish himself at the club.

The 29-year-old was released by West Ham at the start now this month.
Whilst Fredericks certainly doesn’t possess Premier League quality, it could be argued that he would be a good addition for a Championship club. He was a real hit with Fulham in the second tier after all.
And it seems as thought that’s exactly where he could be headed…
Middlesbrough want to sign Ryan Fredericks after West Ham exit
The Mail on Sunday reckon that Middlesbrough are moving in to sign Fredericks on a free transfer this summer.
At his age, he still has plenty of football left in him.
And a move to Middlesbrough may well be the perfect fit for the ex-Fulham star.

The 29-year-old is more than capable of producing the goods in the Championship with Middlesbrough and he may well be a big success there.
Fredericks just wasn’t good enough to be playing for West Ham unfortunately. And moving him on from the London Stadium was 100 per cent the right decision from David Moyes, especially considering the options we have in the right-back department.
Perhaps he will enjoy his football more in the Championship and may well flourish under the guidance of Chris Wilder.
We wish Ryan Fredericks all the best at Middlesbrough, if he does indeed move to Teesside.
