West Ham United are willing to spend up to £40 million to get their hands on Sevilla hitman Youssef En-Nesyri this summer according to a report from La Razon.
Hammers boss David Moyes needs to strengthen his centre-forward department at the London Stadium this summer.
That’s an understatement really.
West Ham need to bring in at least two top class strikers to provide competition for Michail Antonio.
And Sevilla hitman Youssef En-Nesyri is a name who has been linked with a move to East London for a few months now.
The Athletic claimed towards the end of January that West Ham made a £27 million bid for the 23-year-old – one that was swiftly rejected by Sevilla.
West Ham ready to go big for Youssef En-Nesyri
West Ham are allegedly prepared to pay £40 million to get their man (La Razon).
That sounds like a lot of money but the Morocco international would be totally worth it.
En-Nesyri has scored 22 goals in 43 games so far this term (Who Scored). The 23-year-old is lively, quick and has great mobility and movement. He is pretty good in the air as well. In short, he is a complete striker.
En-Nesyri has everything that David Moyes looks for in a striker. And if West Ham have a chance to sign him in the summer, we really shouldn’t hesitate to make it happen.
Considering his age, £40 million would represent decent value as well.
