West Ham will submit two £30m offers for strikers ahead of the January window as injuries expose a lack of depth.
That’s according to new reports making big claims about West Ham’s transfer activity overnight.
Yesterday Hammers News spoke to the top source inside West Ham for clarification over the injury situation.
And the contact confirmed the ‘disastrous’ international break has left Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen on the sidelines.
The Hammers already needed to sign a new striker having failed to replace Gianluca Scamacca in the summer.

That was before Antonio, who turns 34 in March, and Bowen injured their knees with their national sides.
With AFCON likely to rob David Moyes of Mohammed Kudus, Said Benrahma and Maxwel Cornet for five or six games between January and February, West Ham have been left with little choice but to act over the forward situation.
And reports claim West Ham will submit two £30m offers for strikers ahead of the January window as injuries expose a lack of depth.

Football Insider claims West Ham are lining up official bids for Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke and PSG’s Hugo Ekitike.
The site’s reports suggest Solanke is the primary target but claims the Cherries will be very reluctant to sell.
So it is alleged that the Hammers will then try to use the £30m to sign PSG outcast Ekitike instead.
“Football Insider revealed on Monday (20 November) that the Irons continue to monitor the situation of Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke,” the report states.

“However, the Cherries are unlikely to be willing to sanction an exit for the 26-year-old mid-season as they battle relegation from the Premier League.
“Ekitike could be a viable alternative to the England international due to his lack of involvement at PSG.”
It is good to hear West Ham are being proactive ahead of the window opening in six weeks.
There can be no excuses for not signing a striker in the winter window.
The Hammers should have brought a top quality forward in during the summer.
Even if the club has to sell some fringe players to raise the funds, it is an absolute must.
