The top source inside West Ham has told Hammers News the full truth on the injury latest after a dismal international break.
International breaks are the bane of any club manager’s life but West Ham had got off pretty lightly so far this season.
Until the latest break in the domestic game for national teams to take centre stage.
Lucas Paqueta not being involved with Brazil has – privately at least – been a blessing for the Hammers.
And both the September and October internationals passed without incident or injury for the players selected from West Ham.

The last international break of the year has been dreadful for the Hammers, though. And it could get worse still.
Tomas Soucek, Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus have all picked up injuries on international duty.
Vladimir Coufal has also been banished from the Czech squad for breaking curfew rules. Although given the injury situation that is perhaps a blessing in disguise for West Ham.
There has been claim and counter claim about the injury situation.

Some reports stated Antonio could be out for nine months. And similar rumours were doing the rounds about Bowen too.
So we have reached out to the number one contact inside the club for clarification.
The top West Ham source has told Hammers News the full truth on the injury latest after a dismal international break.
And it’s a mixed bag with the potential to get worse as the likes of Kudus – suffering with a back injury – defender Konstantinos Mavropanos and Edson Alvarez in action over the next 24 hours.

“Players like Kudus we don’t know (the full situation), he’s on the bench tonight,” the source told Hammers News.
“Antonio, hopefully under four weeks.
“Bowen will see a specialist today. HOPEFULLY not too serious, but we don’t know for sure.
“The international break has been a disaster for us. Some players return Thursday evening and we just hope they can play under 48 hours later.”
It very much looks like West Ham will be sending a patched up side to take on basement boys Burnley at Turf Moor this Saturday.
Not great timing for Moyes and the team with the fixture list about to get very hectic indeed.
