West Ham are ready to pay Filip Kostic £120k-a-week in order to convince him to move to the London Stadium this summer.
That’s according to a report from Frankfurter Rundschau who claim that the Hammers have lodged a £13 million bid for the 48-capped Serbia international.

West Ham’s highest earner at the moment is Kurt Zouma, who’s on around £120k-a-week (Spotrac). So David Moyes is clearly desperate to bring Kostic to the London Stadium this summer, considering the fact that he is prepared to make him the joint highest earner at the club.

The Hammers have been chasing the 29-year-old for the last few weeks now (Sky Germany).
It seems as though the Hammers are ready to splash the cash though, in order to tempt Kostic into a move to England…
West Ham to offer Filip Kostic huge salary
According to claims from Frankfurter Rundschau, the Hammers have made a £13 million offer for the 29-year-old but we need to raise that by another £3 million or so if Frankfurt are to sell him.
And furthermore, West Ham are prepared to make Kostic the club’s join highest earner, offering him a £120k-a-week salary in order to tempt him into moving to the London Stadium.
talkSPORT recently described Kostic as a ‘brilliant’ player, and they’re not wrong.

What a signing Kostic would be for us this summer.
The Eintracht Frankfurt ace is an incredibly hard-working player.
He is old fashioned in the sense that he’s left-footed and plays on the left! As a result, Kostic is much more of a provider than a goalscorer.
The 48-capped Serbia international bagged 15 assists and seven goals in 43 games for Eintracht Frankfurt last season (Transfermarkt). That’s a healthy return by anyone’s standards.
We would absolutely love to see Filip Kostic at West Ham.
Whether the Serbian can be tempted into leaving Champions League football behind to join the Hammers, however, remains to be seen.
