Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner delivers Filip Kostic hammer blow to West Ham United.
The Hammers have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 29-year-old star this summer.

David Moyes is clearly very keen to bring a versatile left-sided player to the London Stadium this summer – someone who can operate at left wing-back and further forward.

And Kostic fits the bill perfectly.
Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner delivers Filip Kostic hammer blow
The 29-year-old star was absolutely brilliant for Frankfurt last season, so it’s little wonder why Moyes is so keen to bring him to the London Stadium this summer.
It seems as though West Ham might miss out on his signature though…
The Bundesliga side’s manager was speaking to Sky Germany and insisted that he doesn’t think the Serb will be going anywhere this summer:

“I don’t know what will happen until September 1st, but as of today I’m sure he’ll stay.”
That doesn’t sound good at all does it. What a huge shame it would be if we missed out on Kostic this summer.
The Eintracht Frankfurt ace is an incredibly hard-working player.
He is old fashioned in the sense that he’s left-footed and plays on the left! As a result, Kostic is much more of a provider than a goalscorer.
The 48-capped Serbia international bagged 15 assists and seven goals in 43 games for Eintracht Frankfurt last season (Transfermarkt). That’s a healthy return by anyone’s standards.
We would absolutely love to see Kostic at West Ham.
Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner delivering a Filip Kostic hammer blow is obviously terrible news for us.
Hopefully Moyes still manages to find a way of getting his man.
