West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are allegedly in talks to sign Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis from Watford this summer.
That’s according to a report from The Athletic who claim that Watford want around £20 million for the 24-year-old but unfortunately for us, he has allegedly been encouraged by talks with Nottingham Forest.

David Moyes has already signed Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo this summer but it seems as though he is far from finished regarding attacking reinforcements.

Forest could be a huge problem, however.
Nottingham Forest have already beaten us to Jesse Lingard this summer and it seems as though they might beat us to the punch again…
West Ham in talks to sign Emmanuel Dennis but Nottingham Forest are lurking
According to a report from The Athletic, Dennis has been in talks with the Hammers but he has been most encouraged by discussions with Forest.
£20 million for Dennis is very good value in our book and we’d love to see the Nigeria international rock up at the London Stadium this summer.
He would provide very solid competition and cover for Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca.
Dennis is exactly the kind of striker David Moyes usually likes.

The Nigerian bagged 10 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League games for Watford last season (Transfermarkt).
He is a constant menace for opposing defenders and possesses a fantastic work-rate. The Nigeria international’s technique has been described as ‘unreal’ by The Express.
West Ham fans will know all about Dennis. He scored against us with a brilliant strike at Vicarage Road earlier this season.
£20 million seems like a reasonable fee for West Ham to pay for the Nigerian. It is worth noting that he can play on either wing as well as through the middle.
If David Moyes brings Emmanuel Dennis to the London Stadium this summer, the Scot will have some really good attacking options at his disposal next season and beyond.
Whether the Hammers manage to beat Nottingham Forest to the 24-year-old’s signature remains to be seen though.
