Signing a top class number 10 will be crucial for Hammers boss David Moyes this summer.
It seems as though West Ham are set to miss out on Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard this summer.
That’s a real shame given the incredible impact he had at the London Stadium whilst on loan last season.

Fear not though. Pereira would be just as good an option as Lingard…if not better.
West Ham in talks to sign Matheus Pereira
The Hammers are in the midst of discussions with the Baggies regarding a potential £25 million move to prise the 25-year-old away from the Hawthorns this summer according to The Express.
Pereira racked up 11 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League games last season (Transfermarkt).

The Brazilian really is an incredibly exciting talent.
Periera’s former coach at Nuremberg Nate Weiss described the West Brom ace as ‘incredible’ player with technical ability that he had never before seen in the game (Sky Sports).
This quite simply one that the West Ham board need to get over the line as soon as possible.
