West Ham United have allegedly now made an official bid for talented Feyenoord centre-back Marcos Senesi.
That’s according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb who claim that the Hammers have submitted a €15 million (£12.7 million) pus bonuses bid for the 25-year-old defender.
Hammers boss David Moyes is believed to be very keen to bolster his centre-back ranks at the London Stadium with Nayef Aguerd out injured and Angelo Ogbonna still not match fit.
And now it seems as though the Hammers are pushing hard to bring the Argentinian ace to the London Stadium this summer…
West Ham make Marcos Senesi bid
TuttoMercatoWeb claim that the Hammers have lodged a £12.7 million plus bonuses offer for the 25-year-old Feyenoord ace.
We think that Senesi would be a very strong addition for West Ham.
The South American bagged two goals and two assists in 32 Eredivisie games for Feyenoord last season (Who Scored).
During those outings, the 25-year-old averaged 1.8 tackles, 1.6 interceptions, 2.3 clearances and 2.5 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).
He’s very good with the ball at his feet as well. Senesi made 67.1 passes on average per game last season and recorded an impressive completion rate of 85.1% (Who Scored).
The Argentinian ace is nicknamed ‘The Gladiator’ (TEAMtalk). So that bodes very well indeed, considering the ferocious pace, tempo and physical nature of Premier League football.
We think that Marcos Senesi would be a superb addition for West Ham this summer, especially for just £12.5 million.
He has the perfect game for the robust and intense nature of Premier League football and his playing style is quintessentially South American what with his tenacity and aggression.
It might not be too long before we see Marcos Senesi in a West Ham shirt with the East London having allegedly made an official bid for his services.
