West Ham United have lodged an official enquiry for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah according to a report from Transfermarketweb.

The Hammers have been linked with a move to sign Nketiah for quite some time now.
West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his attacking ranks in order to provide more competition and cover for Michail Antonio.
And it seems as though Nketiah could be the man for the job at the London Stadium.

Football.London claims that Arsenal could try and force the issue by selling the 22-year-old Lewisham-born hitman in January, rather than allowing his contract to expire in the summer.
West Ham make enquiry for Arsenal striker Nketiah
Transfermarketweb reckon that the Hammers, as well as Leeds, have lodged acquires for the 22-year-old centre-forward.
The north London outfit will be looking for around £10 million for the London-born hitman.
The 22-year-old isn’t a bad young striker at all. He has plenty of pace and movement and is a very hard worker.

Nketiah is far from prolific, however, and has absolutely no kind of physical presence through the middle.
The Gunners front-man has scored just 20 goals in 86 senior games for the north London outfit (Transfermarkt).
It must be said that the young forward has real potential, however.
David Moyes has a great track record of getting the best out of under-performing players.
