Ex-West Ham ace Enner Valencia set for Premier League return with Wolves chasing his signature

Aksam claims that Wolves are keen to sign the Fenerbahce striker in January.

He left West Ham to join Everton on loan in the summer of 2016 before being moved on permanently to Tigres one year later.

The Hammers signed Valencia from Mexican club Pachuca in the summer of 2014 for around £12 million (BBC).

Sam Allardyce brought the Ecuador international to Upton Park after his fine form for his country at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Valencia is remembered most by the West Ham fans after an absolute rocket that he scored against Hull City in September 2014.

The now 32-year-old’s time with the Hammers was generally disappointing, however. He bagged just 10 goals and seven assists in 68 games for the East London outfit (Transfermarkt).

David Moyes has taken us to another level since he took over at the London Stadium for a second time back in December 2019.

So much so that there are no calls to bring players like Valencia back to the club. That’s in spite of his recent success with Fenerbahce.

Valencia has been in fine form in Turkey with 19 goals in 47 games for Fenerbahce to his name (Soccerbase).

If he does move to Wolves, good luck to him.
