West Ham target Jonathan Ikone is about to be transfer listed by Lille ahead of the January window according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Hammers boss David Moyes is on the hunt for a top-class forward in January in order to provide more competition and cover for Michail Antonio at the London Stadium.
And according to Calciomercato, Lille attacker Jonathan Ikone is on West Ham’s radar ahead of the January transfer window.
Whether the Frenchman is the right man for the job, however, is another matter entirely.
Ikone is a winger by trade, although he can operate through the middle if need be.
£21 attacker West Ham want set to be transfer listed for the January window
The 23-year-old’s day at Lille could be numbered according to a report from Foot Mercato.
He is out of contract with Lille in the summer of 2023, so he could be available for as little as £21 million in January or the summer (In News 24).
We think that Moyes should be looking elsewhere though.
The Frenchman bagged seven goals and seven assists in 48 games for Lille last term (Transfermarkt).
Ikone has experienced somewhat of a dip in form this season though, with just two goals and no assists to his name in 18 games.
West Ham should be looking for an out and out striker – someone with physical prowess similar to Michail Antonio.
Ikone quite simply isn’t that man.

He might be a decent signing for plenty of teams for £21 million.
West Ham probably could and should be aiming for a lot better in January, however.
