West Ham United are reportedly still in the picture to sign Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo, in spite of interest from Arsenal.
That’s according to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio who claims that there is huge interest in the Italian in the January transfer window.
Surprisingly, it is alleged that one of the clubs chasing Zaniolo is West Ham United.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium in the January transfer window. And it appears as though he has already got one forward signing over the line in the form of Danny Ings.
In spite of that, the addition of an attacking midfielder could be next up on the agenda for the Hammers…
West Ham in the running to sign Nicolo Zaniolo
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Hammers are one of the clubs trying to sign the Roma star.
What an incredible signing he would be for West Ham. The Italian is an exceptional talent.
Italy boss Roberto Mancini once described the 23-year-old as an ‘extraordinary’ player (Goal).
Zaniolo is big and powerful and standing at 6ft 3in tall, he seems to be perfectly built for the Premier League.

The Roma attacker can play in a variety of positions including the number 10 role and on both wings, and he has a proven track record of producing the goods at the very highest level for a sustained period of time.
His exceptional technical ability and physical prowess would provide West Ham with a really different option inside the final third.
Whether West Ham are able to beat the likes of Arsenal to the £35 million signing of Nicolo Zaniolo remains to be seen.
I have to say though, I really can’t see this one happening.
