Hammers boss David Moyes will be hoping to get a permanent deal wrapped up for Lingard as soon as possible.
The 28-year-old Manchester United owned ace has been superb for West Ham since moving to the London Stadium on loan in January.
The Daily Mail claimed yesterday that the Hammers might not be able to sign the 28-year-old permanently in the summer, however, due to a lack of finances.

West Ham eyeing Matheus Pereira as Jesse Lingard alternative
The Express reckon that the Hammers could swoop in for the 25-year-old West Brom ace this summer if they fail to land Lingard.
The Brazilian has been on fire for the Baggies this season with 10 goals and five assists to his name in 31 Premier League games (Transfermarkt).
Brazilian media outlet UOL recently claimed that West Brom will be willing to sell Pereira for around £17.2 million.

We think that would be outstanding value for West Ham.
The Brazilian star can play on either wing or in the number 10 role.
Pereira is incredibly skilful and he has a real end product as well. £17 million for the West Brom ace would represent an incredible bargain.
