West Ham United can sign Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou for a lot less than his massive release clause either in January or next summer.
That’s according to a report from Spanish publication La Razon who claim that the Hammers are keen to bring the 31-year-old stopper to the London Stadium.

And it is suggested that Sevilla are prepared to negotiate the sale of the 43-capped Morocco international, who has a €50 million (£44 million) release clause inserted into his current contract.

And it seems as though the Hammers will be able to pick the Sevilla stopper up for a reduced fee…
West Ham eyeing Yassine Bounou swoop
La Razon claims that Sevilla would be willing to sell the 31-year-old to the Hammers for less than his £44 million release.
In my opinion, this would be a totally unnecessary signing for West Ham.
Moyes already has a top-class goalkeeper at his disposal in the form of Areola. Quite why he doesn’t start the French World Cup winner every single week is truly baffling in my eyes.

Perhaps he just doesn’t rate the 29-year-old for whatever reason.
Bounou is a decent goalkeeper but in my view, he isn’t on the same level as Alphonse Areola.
David Moyes has far more pressing priorities at hand than signing another goalkeeper in January. The additions of a right-back and a central midfielder should be right at the top of his agenda.
We would be shocked if West Ham made a move to sign Yassine Bounou in January.
