West Ham United and Arsenal have reportedly both lodged enquires for Red Bull Salzburg striker Noah Okafor ahead of the January transfer window.
That’s according to Tutto Mercato Web who claim that the Austrian side will demand around €35 million (£30 million) from West Ham and Arsenal for the 22-year-old forward.
It’s clear to see that David Moyes and Mikel Arteta want to strengthen their centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium and the Emirates respectively in the January transfer window.
The Hammers and the Gunners are both lacking a plethora of options in that particular position.

So could Okafor be set to swap RB Salzburg for either West Ham or Arsenal in the January transfer window? It certainly seems that way…
West Ham and Arsenal eye January transfer window swoops for Noah Okafor
According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, the Hammers and the Gunners both want to sign the Switzerland international in January.
I believe that the 22-year-old would be a superb addition for either West Ham or Arsenal.
Okafor has been in fine form for RB Salzburg so far this season, with 10 goals and two assists to his name in 22 outings (Transfermarkt).
His career record for the Austrian side makes for fairly impressive reading as well, with 34 goals and 20 assists in 100 games (Transfermarkt).

The Swiss ace is a centre-forward by trade but can operate on either wing as well, and that will undoubtedly appeal to both Moyes and Arteta.
Okafor has a really direct playing style and is a great dribbler with really explosive pace according to Total Football Analysis.
Fabrizio Romano once described the young forward as a ‘jewel’.
£30 million for the young RB Salzburg star seems like fantastic value to me.
It remains to be seen whether West Ham or Arsenal are prepared to pay that kind of money for Noah Okafor in the January transfer window though.
