West Ham are trying to sign Youssef En-Nesyri on loan, with an option to buy him for around £20 million included in the deal.

That’s according to a report from The Daily Mail who claim that Hammers boss David Moyes is very keen to bring the 25-year-old Sevilla striker to the London Stadium in the January transfer window.

However, Sevilla are allegedly looking for the option to buy to be closer to £35 million.

West Ham have been linked with En-Nesyri for quite some time, and those links recently emerged once more, although En-Nesyri is said to prefer remaining in La Liga with Sevilla.

However, if the Hammers push hard enough, the lure of the Premier League may well be too hard to resit for the 57-capped Morocco international.

And it seems as though the East London club are prepared to pay at least £20 million to bring the 25-year-old forward to the club this winter…

En-Nesyri option to buy revealed

The Hammers are trying to include a £20 million option to buy the Moroccan in the loan deal to sign him in January.

That would actually represent decent value for West Ham in my opinion, in spite of En-Nesyri’s poor form over the past 12 months.

The striker has bagged just five goals for Sevilla since the start of this season, although he did score a hat-trick for them last week (Soccerbase).

And En-Nesyri bagged two goals for Morocco during the World Cup out in Qatar.

The 25-year-old forward would offer the Hammers something that we don’t otherwise possess in the final third.

And the En-Nesyri option to buy clause for around £20 million would represent a good deal for West Ham. However, I wouldn’t want us paying much more than that for him.
