West Ham United have reportedly held talks with Lorient about signing Terem Moffi in the January transfer window.
That’s according to a report from 90 Min who claim that Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring Moffi to the London Stadium this month.
West Ham desperately need another attacking option through the middle, with Michail Antonio having regressed badly over the past 12 months.

And in my opinion, the 23-year-old Lorient striker would be the absolutely perfect addition for the Hammers in January.
The Lorient hitman is someone who was first linked with a move to West Ham last week.
And now it seems as though our interest in signing him has become concrete…
West Ham hold talks to sign Terem Moffi
90 Min reckon that the Hammers have made the first concrete move to sign the Lorient striker.
Described by Total Football Analysis as a ‘nuisance’ Moffi is exactly what we need at the London Stadium, and he would be the perfect foil for Gianluca Scamacca.
Moffi would take West Ham’s attacking play to a whole new level entirely.
He is absolutely rapid and is strong as an ox. He is generally a nuisance for opposing defenders and would offer a completely different option to Gianluca Scamacca through the middle, what with his power and pace.

He’s been on fire in Ligue 1 this season, with 10 goals in 16 games for Lorient to his name (Transfermarkt).
Score Nigeria reckon that he could be available for around €25 million this winter (£22 million).
That sounds like absolutely outstanding value to me.
If West Ham have in fact held talks to sign Moffi, it may well only be a matter of time before this deal is signed, sealed and delivered.
