Armstrong Okoflex could have a huge part to play for West Ham during the second half of the season, after he was recalled from Swansea City.

The 20-year-old attacker joined the Swans from the Hammers on loan in the summer, but he is now back at the London Stadium after David Moyes pulled the plug on the deal.

Okoflex is a huge talent, but his loan move to Swansea was clearly the wrong one for him. He was given just 287 minutes of action with the Welsh outfit (Tranfermarkt).

The young forward arrived at the London Stadium from Celtic in the summer of 2021, and he has actually really impressed for the senior side during pre-season games.

And perhaps now, he will be ready to feature regularly for David Moyes’s side during the second half of the season, after this recall from Swansea…

Armstrong Okoflex could be secret weapon for West Ham

With Maxwell Cornet currently out injured, Okoflex may have a huge chance to shine for West Ham over the next few months.

The Dublin-born youngster possesses blistering pace and has a really direct playing style that the Hammers have desperately lacked in the final third this season.

The former Celtic man has proven that he’s good enough to mix it with senior pros, with some outstanding performances for West Ham during the 2021/22 pre-season.

If Moyes doesn’t throw him in and give him a chance, he will never know whether or not he’s actually good enough to play Premier League football.

The proof will be in the pudding. If he’s not good enough then the Hammers can just move him on at the end of the season.

However, I have a sneaky suspicion that Armstrong Okoflex could be a big hit for West Ham between now and the end of the season.
