West Ham target Eddie Nketiah has spoken with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta about his future according to a report from the Daily Mail.

The Sun and Transfer Market Web recently claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the Arsenal striker to the London Stadium from The Emirates in January.
In fact, TMW suggest that West Ham have already made an enquiry for the 22-year-old Gunners forward.

Nketiah’s current deal with Arsenal is set to expire in the summer of 2022.
And he could leave the north London outfit for around £10 million in January (Transfer Market Web).
It seems as though the Hammers have a very good chance of prising Eddie away from the Gunners.
Report shares what Eddie Nketiah told Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta after West Ham enquiry
The 22-year-old forward has hardly been given a chance to impress at the Emirates this season.
And according to a report from the Daily Mail, Nketiah has told Arteta that he wants to leave Arsenal in January.
That means that the Hammers have a real opportunity to sign a good young striker with plenty of potential for a very reasonable fee in January.
The 22-year-old isn’t a bad young striker at all. He has plenty of pace and movement and is a very hard worker.
The Gunners hitman has absolutely no kind of physical presence through the middle though, and his goalscoring record is fairly poor to say the least with just 20 goals in 86 senior games to his name (Transfermarkt).
So there are definite warning signs for West Ham. We think Nketiah has great potential, however. If he does manage to bulk up and improve upon his finishing, he could still be a top class Premier League player.

The young Londoner certainly has the raw ingredients needed to make an impact at the highest level.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is clearly a fan. He described Nketiah as ‘extraordinary’ last season (Metro). So the 22-year-old obviously has something about him.
And let’s not forget, David Moyes has a great track record of getting the best out of underperforming forward players.
Nketiah would certainly provide us with an option that we don’t currently have off the bench.

And we think the Arsenal man would be a very decent January acquisition for West Ham. Certainly for the reported £10 million fee. And perhaps we could now pick him up even cheaper after he allegedly told Arteta that he wants to leave.
