A report has now claimed that West Ham United need to make ‘crazy offer’ to sign Troyes striker Mama Balde.
Hammers boss David Moyes has already bolstered his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium in the January transfer window with the addition of Danny Ings.

West Ham earned an absolutely vital three points against Everton yesterday, and are now sitting outside the Premier League relegation zone.
So things are starting to look up. However, the addition of another attacker really would put us in a strong position ahead of the second half of the season…
West Ham need crazy offer to sign striker
If West Ham are to sign Troyes forward Mama Balde, we need to make a ‘crazy offer’ for him, according to a report from French publication L’Est Eclair.
The French media outlet then clarify what they mean by crazy – something around €30 million (£26 million). That seems like an awful lot of money for someone who has scored just 38 goals in 215 career games (Transfermarkt).
That really is a poor tally isn’t it.

Don’t get me wrong, Balde is a decent striker. He has plenty of pace and power, but he clearly struggles when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net.
I think hat £26 million would be far better spent elsewhere – namely Terem Moffi. Also, it must be said that David Moyes should look to sign a left-back or right-back instead of another forward at the moment.
One thing’s for sure though – West Ham shouldn’t be paying anything like £26 million to sign Troyes striker Mama Balde.
Even £15 million would be too steep in my opinion.
