Hammers boss David Moyes obviously needs to strengthen his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
And it seems as though the Leeds star could be the man for the job…
Report makes Tyler Adams approach claim as West Ham move in to sign the Leeds star
The Daily Mail reckon that the Hammers have made an approach for the 36-capped United States intentional.
Now, this is a bit of a strange one. I think that Adams would be a very solid addition to our squad, but he’s not fit to lace Dec’s boots.
So unless Moyes signs him in addition to an elite central midfielder, then I think he might be somewhat of an underwhelming signing for West Ham.
That’s not to say that he isn’t a good player, because he most certainly is.

Leeds United News have claimed that the the American has a £30 million release clause inserted into his current contract at Elland Road.
He has been described as a tenacious tackling, superb all-round midfielder by well-known commentator Sam Matterface (Gameday Podcast, 06:39, 26 November).
In 24 Premier League outings for Leeds last season, Adams averaged 3.7 tackles, 1.5 interceptions and one clearance per game. During those appearances, the 24-year-old made 55.3 passes on average per match and recorded a completion rate of 82.4% (Who Scored).
Tyler Adams is a solid operator and would be a decent addition for West Ham. However, he certainly wouldn’t get the juices flowing at the London Stadium.
