A report has made a big Lukasz Fabianski to Brighton from West Ham United claim ahead of the summer transfer window.

West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is said to be a transfer target for Brighton ahead of the summer transfer window.

Fab has been a fine player for us over the past five years, since joining the Hammers from Swansea City for £7 million in the summer of 2018 (talkSPORT).

Manuel Pellegrini brought the 57-capped Poland international to the London Stadium, and despite the Chilean’s poor reign in charge of the club, we should be thankful to him for signing the 38-year-old goalkeeper when he did.

Fabianski seems to have found a whole new level entirely recently as well. To improve at his age is a tribute to just how dedicated he is to his craft.

The Pole has proven once again this season just how important he is to David Moyes. However, it seems as though he could be on his way out of the club this summer…

Lukasz Fabianski a transfer target for Brighton

According to a report from Meczyki, the 38-year-old Hammers stopper is on the Seagulls’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

Ben Foster recently labelled Fab as a ‘world-class’ goalkeeper.

Whilst that might be a stretch, the former Arsenal and Swansea man is certainly a very dependable stopper and is one of the better goalkeepers in the Premier League in my opinion.

Fabianski’s contract with West Ham is due to expire this summer. However, the Hammers do have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months (Evening Standard).

The Pole is clearly still the number one goalkeeper at the London Stadium, so I would be hugely surprised if Moyes allows him to move on at the end of this season.

The experienced goalkeeper brings so much composure to our backline, when he plays with the way that he commands his penalty area with authority.

However, if Brighton do make it clear that they want to sign Lukasz Fabianski, the 38-year-old’s head may well be turned, especially if they qualify for Europe this season.
