Sky Sports reveals the specific reason Vlad the lad is unhappy with new deal
Now a report from Sky Sports has revealed the specific reason Coufal is said to be unhappy with West Ham’s contract offer.
“It is understood the initial contract extension offered to Coufal is weighted more on appearances and performances rather than a major hike in his basic salary, which has left the player feeling as though the quality of his performances is not being reflected,” Sky Sports claim.
However Hammers News understands that West Ham is continuing to negotiate with the likes of Rice and Coufal to ensure players are rewarded.

West Ham need to take extra care regarding Coufal given his close relationship with another absolutely crucial Hammers star, Tomas Soucek.
The Czech mates are two of the biggest bargains the Premier League has seen.
Best friends off the pitch it is bound to have an impact on Soucek if Coufal ended up pushing for a move.
There is no suggestion that is the case at the moment, though. If anything the opposite is true with reports stating Coufal is happy at West Ham.
