A new report claims ex West Ham striker Sebastien Haller is set for a summer move but it’s not to Man United.
When former Manchester United boss David Moyes gave the green light for West Ham to take a £25m loss in selling Haller to Ajax in January last year it raised eyebrows.

Manuel Pellegrini was the West Ham manager then. But when former Man United boss Moyes returned to east London for a second spell, Haller’s face simply did not fit.
Moyes preferred Michail Antonio up front ahead of Haller. The Hammers boss also publicly criticised Haller on several occasions saying he had to do more for the team and show more.
When Ajax came knocking Moyes let the Ivory Coast striker leave.

That decision has been questioned on an almost weekly basis since as Haller has amassed an astonishing 58 goals and assists for the Dutch giants in 54 games.
West Ham have not done too badly without him of course.
But Haller’s exploits have reportedly caught the attention of a host of clubs including Liverpool and – once again – Manchester United.

Links to the Red Devils have become even more inevitable after Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag was officially confirmed as the new manager of Man United last week.
History says where Ten Hag goes, Haller follows. The Dutchman has signed Haller in both the senior management roles he has had so far at Utrecht and Ajax.
Many expect him to complete a Haller hat-trick at Man United this summer.

Now a new report from Italy claims ex West Ham striker Haller is set for a summer move but not to Man United.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims an impending takeover of giants AC Milan by Investcorp will see the San Siro side target Haller.
The report states that Investcorp are ready to set aside around €300m (£250m) to strengthen the Milan squad over the next few transfer windows and one player that they’re big fans of is Haller.
“The 27-year-old Ajax forward would cost around €45m (£38m) but the investment would seem worth it, especially when considering the Rossoneri’s attacking struggles this season,” La Gazzetta dello Sport claims, as transcribed by Football Italia.

“Everything depends on how much Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are given in the upcoming summer transfer window, but it’s clear that they’re fans of the talented Ivorian.”
It remains to be seen what happens in the summer.
But it may be better for West Ham if Haller goes to Serie A just in case he hits it off in the Premier League with Man United and makes the Hammers look foolish for moving him on so cheaply.
