Wolves are reportedly now in talks to sign Craig Dawson from West Ham United in the January transfer window.
That’s according to 90 Min who claim that the 32-year-old centre-back is a top target for Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui this month.
Dawson wanted to leave the London Stadium in the summer, in order to move closer to his family in the north of England (The Daily Mail).

It appears as though the Black Country outfit are back on the trail of the Hammers ace…
Wolves in talks to sign Craig Dawson
90 Min reckon that Wolves are now in discussions with the Hammers ace about bringing him to Molineux.
He originally joined the Hammers on a season-long loan from Watford in October 2020. West Ham then made his move to the London Stadium a permanent one for a further £3 million in the summer of 2021 (The Sun).
Daws has established himself as a cult hero at West Ham but he’s actually a lot more than that. He’s a very good good defender, and labelling him as a cult hero really doesn’t do him justice.

It will be really sad to see Dawson leave, but considering how professional he has been since the summer, we probably owe him a move back closer to his family up north.
The 32-year-old has been a tremendous servant for us. I don’t want to lose him but it seems as though it’s almost inevitable now.
Wolves are in talks to sign Craig Dawson, so it might not be too long before he’s off.
Hopefully Moyes brings in a replacement for Daws before the 32-year-old is sold.
