West Ham United are reportedly lining up a move to sign talented Brazilian winger Tete in the January transfer window.
That’s according to Calciomercato.it who claim that the Hammers could face strong competition from Brighton and Leicester for the 22-year-old’s signature.
David Moyes will undoubtedly be keen to bolster his attacking wide options at the London Stadium this winter.

Jarrod Bowen has been woefully out of form, whilst Maxwel Cornet has really struggled with injuries since joining the Hammers from Burnley in the summer.
And it seems as though there is someone in particular who Moyes wants to sign in January…
West Ham eyeing Tete swoop
Calciomercato.it claim that Tete’s situation at Lyon has gone downhill since Laurent Blanc took over.
And as a result, the Hammers could try to snap up the Brazilian ace, although we may face competition from Brighton and Leicester for his services.
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi used to manage Tete during his time in charge of Shakhtar Donetsk, so the Seagulls may well have the upper hand in the race for his signature.
In spite of that, let’s hope that Moyes manages to pull this one out of the bag.
I have to say, this would be a truly exceptional signing for West Ham.
He allegedly could be available for just £25 million as well – an absolute bargain.

The 22-year-old has bagged seven goals and eight assists in 24 games for Lyon since joining them in March. He racked up 31 goals and 15 assists in 108 games for Shakhtar (Transfermarkt).
Tete possesses skill and pace in abundance and his playing style is quintessentially Brazilian.
He’s only 22, so is far from the finished article. The South American has so much talent and potential though. He has been described as a ‘stunning player’ by Ligue 1’s official website.
Tete could go on to become one of the elite wingers in world football if he continues to work hard and applies himself correctly both on and off the pitch.
Signing Tete for £25 million would be a stunning deal for West Ham. Let’s hope that Moyes and the Hammers owners make it happen.
