Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is wanted by West Ham boss David Moyes ahead of the summer transfer window.

David Moyes has informed the West Ham owners that he would like them to bring Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the London Stadium this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Hammers boss will undoubtedly be looking to bolster his right-back options this summer.

Ben Johnson could be on his way out of the club (Claret and Hugh), whilst Vladimir Coufal will be 31 by the time the new season starts.

And it seems as though Moyes has made it very clear which player he wants to come in this summer, and either replace or challenge those two mentioned above…

The Mail reckon that the fleet-footed Man United right-back is firmly on the radar of the Hammers this summer.

Wan-Bissaka joined Wan-Bissaka joined Manchester United in the summer of 2019 from Crystal Palace for around £50 million (Independent).

He hasn’t quite lived up to the hype at Old Trafford though and as a result, he was deemed surplus to requirements by Erik ten Hag back in the summer of 2022.

And then in January, the Manchester United boss reportedly told the former Crystal Palace man that he could leave Old Trafford.

However, the Daily Mail claim that Wan-Bissaka could now be offered a new deal by Man United, having forced his way back into the side.

So with that U-turn in mind, it may well be tricky for West Ham to sign him. Moyes really should be going all out to bring him to East London though, however hard that may be.

Wan-Bissaka has been described as an ‘explosive’ player by the The Athletic. Meanwhile, Owen Hargreaves once labelled him as ‘unplayable’ (TEAMtalk).

He is out of contract in the summer of 2024, but Man United have the option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.

The 25-year-old possesses blistering pace and is one of the very best one on one defenders in the world.

I would absolutely love West Ham to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer – he’d be a huge upgrade on what Moyes currently has at his disposal at the London Stadium.
