AC Milan could now sign West Ham star Nikola Vlasic in the summer transfer window, with Torino struggling to meet the Hammers’ asking price.

Vlasic joined the Serie A outfit on loan in the summer transfer window just gone and according to CalcioPalois, they have an option to buy him from West Ham for €22 million (£19 million).

That’s where AC Milan come in. CalcioPalois claim that Torino are struggling to meet the Nikola Vlasic option price, and as a result, Milan are eying up the West Ham owned ace.

Vlasic has been on fire for the Italians since leaving the Hammers in the summer.

Vlasic is obviously very comfortable with Torino, and has bagged three goals and one assist in 11 outings for them so far (Transfermarkt).

Torino will obviously want to keep him at the club but it seems as though they may well have their work cut-out…

With Torino struggling to meet the £19 million buy-out clause, AC Milan could step in and steal him from their Serie A rivals according to a report from CalcioPalois.

Vlasic’s fine form for Torino this season has really shone a light on David Moyes’s mishandling of the 25-year-old.

During his time in Italy, he has been played in his correct position – the number 10 role just in behind the striker. This was never the case at the London Stadium.

And the Hammers fans are now seeing what Vlasic is really capable of.

With every week that passes, it seems like West Ham boss David Moyes has made a really bad decision and handled Vlasic terribly.

Moyes chose to deploy him out on the left wing mostly – a position that renders him totally ineffective due to his lack of pace.

Nikola Vlasic is proving with Torino and Croatia that he is an exceptionally talented attacking player, and he clearly has a lot to offer at the very highest level.

In my personal opinion, Vlasic just wasn’t suited to the physically robust and intense nature of Premier League football. I’ve got to give it to him though, he is slowly starting to change my mind on him as a player with his fantastic performances for club and country.

AC Milan may well sign the West Ham star in the summer transfer window, and Moyes could end up regretting not getting the best out of him.

On the other hand, it remains to be seen whether Milan or Torino can afford the £19 million fee. Who knows, he might actually end up staying at West Ham behind the 2023 summer transfer window!

CalcioPalois are adamant that West Ham will not accept any less than £19 million for Vlasic in the summer transfer window.

So there is still a chance that we could see the Croatian playing in East London again.

And that really would be a turn up for the books wouldn’t it!
