West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek is allegedly being chased by some of the ‘world’s biggest clubs’ ahead of the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Grand Hotel Calciomercato who claim that Hammers man Soucek is being watched by some of the best teams in world football.
Signed for €21 million (£17.6 million) in July 2020 after spending the previous four months on loan at the London Stadium (WHUFC.com), he instantly became a fan favourite at the club.

Soucek scored 10 goals in 38 Premier League games for West Ham last season and he played a key role in our sixth placed finish in the Premier League table.

This season, however, the 26-year-old has regressed badly.
He has scored just three goals and looks completely shattered if truth be told. There is the other small matter of changing positions in order to facilitate a new role in the team for Declan Rice as well.
In spite of his poor form, he is still a man in demand…
West Ham midfielder Soucek a summer target for world’s best clubs
Grand Hotel Calciomercato claims that the Czech Republic international is being watched by some of the ‘best teams in the world’.
Now, if this is true, it is clear to see that Soucek has something about him.
He is just being used completely incorrectly at West Ham at the moment.

The former Slavia Prague man has been asked to play in the holding central midfield role, thus rendering him entirely ineffective.
The Czech Republic international is at his best when arriving late in the box, playing just off the front-man. He did this last season and scored 10 Premier League goals as a result.
In order to get back to his best, David Moyes must play him in the role he was utilised in last season.
If Moyes isn’t prepared to do that though, he must move the 26-year-old on from the London Stadium during the summer transfer window.
And judging by Grand Hotel Calciomercato’s report, there won’t be a shortage of potential suitors for his signature at the end of this season…
