Paris Saint-Germain could throw a serious spanner in the works for West Ham United in our pursuit of Gianluca Scamacca.
That’s according to a report from Sportmediaset who claim that PSG have been offered the chance to sign Scamacca this summer.

The Italy international has absolutely everything that Moyes looks for in a striker and he’s perfectly suited to West Ham’s playing style.
Michail Antonio cannot be expected to carry the burden of being the club’s only centre-forward once again next season. If we are to compete for honours on all fronts, the signing of an elite striker will be essential.

Scamacca would be the perfect summer signing for the Hammers but we could have a real problem on our hands…
West Ham face tough battle for Scamacca
Sportmediaset claim that Sassuolo have offered the 23-year-old striker to Ligue 1 giants PSG.
And that is obviously a huge problem for the Hammers.
The Sun claim that Moyes wants to bring the towering hitman to the London Stadium but the Scot will now really have his work cut-out.
A move to Paris Saint-Germain would provide Scamacca with the opportunity to win league titles and play Champions League football as well.
And if we do lose out on the Sassuolo ace, it would be a real shame.

Scamacca could be available for around £35 million this summer according to claims from well-renowned Italian football journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
That would represent fantastic value for West Ham considering Scamacca’s outstanding talent and potential.
The 23-year-old is an absolute unit. He stands at 6ft 5in tall but don’t let that fool you, he’s so much more than a bog-standard target man.
Sempre Inter recently described the towering striker as an ‘unbelievable’ player.
Scamacca possesses exceptional technique and has one of the most ferocious shots in the game at his disposal.
Scamacca bagged 16 goals in 36 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo this season (Transfermarkt).
Let’s just hope that the lure of living in London and playing in the Premier League for West Ham is enough to tempt Scamacca with PSG chasing his signature.
