West Ham are in the race to sign Joe Gomez from Liverpool in the summer transfer window according to a report from 90 Min.
According to claims for Give Me Sport, Liverpool could sell Gomez for around €30 million in the summer (£25 million).

And we think that would be really good value for the Hammers.
Central defence is an area where West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster in the summer transfer window and Liverpool ace Gomez could well be the answer.
Angelo Ogbonna is still out with a long-term injury and will be 34 before the start of the new season. Meanwhile, Craig Dawson will soon be 32 and the jury is still out on Issa Diop regarding whether he is actually good enough to play at the very highest level.

Moyes needs to bring in a top-class centre-back with youth on his side. Liverpool star Gomez has all of the attributes needed to be a real star at the London Stadium and with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp apparently prepared to let him leave Anfield, it seems as though the Hammers have a realistic chance of signing him.
West Ham bringing in Joe Gomez from Liverpool would be an unreal signing
90 Min claims that the Hammers are one of a handful of clubs who are keen to prise the centre-back away from Anfield at the end of the season.
And what a brilliant addition to Catford-born ace would be for West Ham.
Gomez has won a Premier League title and the Champions League under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Standing at 6ft 2in, he’s not the tallest centre-back but don’t be fooled, he’s great in the air. The former Charlton ace has great agility and a tremendous leap on him.
Gomez is exceptionally quick along the ground and is very comfortable with the ball at his feet as well.

One huge red flag for West Ham will be Gomez’s recent injury problems, however. The 24-year-old has been out injured for an incredible 806 days since the start of the 2015/16 season (Transfermarkt).
Hopefully those injury problems are behind him though. It must be noted as well that Liverpool play with such intensity, even their centre-backs are expected to press high us the pitch. It would be quite that way at West Ham.
Gomez has so much talent and if he remains to stay injury free, he will undoubtedly force his way back into the England squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar this winter.
If Moyes manages to bring the 24-year-old centre-back to West Ham from Liverpool for just £25 million this summer we will be absolutely delighted. It would be a sign of how far we have come.
And the opportunity to move back closer to home may well be one that Gomez grabs with both hands.
