We strongly believe that Nayef Aguerd will be the first player West Ham sign when the transfer window opens.
Central defence is clearly an area at the London Stadium where David Moyes wants to strengthen before the start of next season.

Angelo Ogbonna is still out with an ACL injury and he will be 34 at the end of this month.
Signing a long-term replacement for the Italian will be one of Moyes’s main priorities.
The Scot has to bring in an elite, left footed centre-back who can take the baton from Ogbonna.

And in our opinion, there is one man in particular who is not only perfect for the Hammers but also seems destined for a move to the London Stadium…
Nayef Aguerd will surely be the first summer arrival at West Ham
Multiple reports claim that the Hammers are close to signing the 26-year-old centre-back.
The Guardian reckon that the East London outfit are confident of completing a deal to sign the Morocco international.
Meanwhile, The Sun claim that West Ham are currently working on a deal to sign Aguerd.
And on top of that, club insiders Claret and Hugh suggest that Moyes is ‘seriously keen’ to bring the defender to the London Stadium in the summer.
What a signing he would be for us.

The 26-year-old has been described as a brilliant defender by Get Football News France.
And he’s left-footed so is the ideal long-term replacement for Ogbonna.
In 29 Ligue 1 appearances for Rennes so far this season, Aguerd has averaged one interception, one tackle and 4.1 clearances per game. He has also won 3.1 aerial duels per match (Who Scored).
The Morocco international has made 71.7 passes per game on average and recorded an impressive completion rate of 89% (Who Scored).
Aguerd possesses exceptional ball-playing ability as well and this would help increase our resistance to be pressed from the opposition.
He could be available for just £17 million this summer according to GFFN.
And if Nayef Aguerd ends up at West Ham in the summer, we would be absolutely delighted.
