There are no shortage of offers for a West Ham striker target who’s officially faster than Kylian Mbappe amid Andy Delort speculation.
It is abundantly clear where West Ham simply must improve if they are to avoid a potentially disastrous relegation battle this season.
The Hammers are not winning games because they simply cannot score goals.
West Ham have managed just 13 goals in 17 Premier League games so far this season.

That is the joint third worst record in the entire top flight and comes despite signing the likes of £35m striker Gianluca Scamacca and £51m playmaker Lucas Paqueta in the summer.
West Ham’s owners are so concerned by the side’s profligacy it has been claimed they have told David Moyes they will find the money to sign a striker in January.
Ligue 1 has been the main market West Ham are looking at for transfers with head of recruitment Rob Newman.
So could previous interest in a striker playing in France help solve Moyes’ biggest problem?
Reports in previous windows claim West Ham have an interest in rapid 31-year-old Nice star Andy Delort.
West Ham are sorely lacking pace as well as goals. And the Algerian hitman would bring both to the party.

He has scored over 130 goals in his career and according to Ligue 1’s official website Delort was the fastest player in the French top flight the season before last.
The stocky striker clocked a top speed of 36.8 km/h during one of his sprints – astonishingly quick. The fastest PSG star Mbappe has clocked in his career so far is 35.6 km/h (UEFA).
Well it looks like he could be available for transfer in January as West Ham ponder how to solve their goalscoring crisis.
And there are no shortage of offers for the West Ham striker target who’s officially faster than Mbappe amid new Delort speculation.
L’Équipe claim Nice has ‘no shortage’ of offers from several Ligue 1 clubs as well as from the Middle East and the likes of West Ham’s Europa Conference League rivals Fiorentina.

The player himself has been open about his desire to leave the club to the management of Nice. It is reported the alleged West Ham target’s unhappiness stems from his relationship with Lucien Favre, as well as salary commitments made that have reportedly not been kept by the club.
RMC Sport have recently reported Delort is pushing to leave Nice this month.
He may be the wrong side of 30, but West Ham could do a lot worse given the club’s serious issues.
Moyes has said he expects it to be a quiet window for West Ham but admitted he could do deals if certain players and deals become available.
Besides the Scot may not even be the manager by the time the window closes unless he solves the goalscoring issue.
