There could finally be movement on Callum Wilson’s future at West Ham United, it seems.
For an age now, it’s felt as if Wilson is on the brink of leaving West Ham.
The 33-year-old is out of the picture under Nuno Espirito Santo following the signings of Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe.
How many more signings do we need to make for you to feel confident about staying up?! 🤔
Nuno has confirmed Wilson can leave West Ham and despite the fact he’s been linked with several clubs thus far, there has been no official update.
That could come soon, however.
Callum Wilson could be allowed to leave West Ham imminently
According to The Daily Telegraph, there is an expectation that the former Newcastle forward could be allowed to depart after Saturday’s game against Tottenham.
In a blow to the likes of Celtic and Everton – both of whom have been linked with Wilson – the forward is likely to receive offers from Al-Shabab and other sides in the Middle East.
The report adds that Wilson could even be in that part of the world as early next week to discuss a move to a new club based in that region.

West Ham are taking a risk on Callum Wilson
Castellanos is already off the mark in claret and blue, while Pablo has impressed in flashes thus far.
Still, letting so many Premier League goals go in the form of Wilson does feel like a risk given West Ham’s current predicament.
If West Ham are relegated by a large margin this season, it’s not likely be because they let Wilson go.
Clearly, he’s no longer the force of old.

It is, however, worth mentioning that eight starts this season have yielded four goals. He might not be the man to hang your hat on, but it’s not as if he hasn’t shown anything at all.
No one is suggesting that Wilson is the answer to West Ham’s attacking problems but he’s also not the major problem.
Wilson has impressed for West Ham at times this season and while he might not be the long-term solution for the club, there is an element of risk in allowing him to leave halfway through a relegation battle.
